What Is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is not a form of mind control, it is a natural state which every person enters into many times a day without even realising it. An ethical and well trained hypnotherapist will be affiliated to professional organisations to protect his/her client, themself as well as the profession.
Hypnotherapy is a fantastic, non invasive, highly successful way to bring about change in your life. Having given talks to various profesionals from different modalities has allowed me to cement beneficial relationships across the board and even across the world.
Improve the Quality of Life for those living with Alzheimer’s, Parkinsons and other dementia’s. The work in this area has brought about amazing and totally unexpected results.

I firmly believe in alternative approaches to health and wellness both mental and physical. I also recognize that we cannot do without modern scientific technology in life and therefore prefer to work with your medical professional. Hypnosis is not a miracle cure but it has been proven to be a beneficial approach towards assisting both the mind and body to achieve optimum holistic health. Many medical practitioners also firmly believe in hypnosis and will even recommend it. If you feel your life or even aspects of your life need to change, then hypnosis is what you need to make that change.
Fear of the unknown as well as many misconceptions surrounding hypnosis often cause people to hesitate before calling a hypnotist. We have all seen stage hypnosis and heard all the rumours and stories of how the hypnotist made him or her do this or that.
The truth is that no hypnotist can make you do anything that is against your beliefs or morals. That doesn’t mean that you won’t get the odd unethical person who wont try, it just means he/she will fail and another story will spread and probably with a thousand variations of it.
Without going into religion or an extensive history lesson, hypnosis has actually been used for thousands of years with highly successful results. It can be used for anaesthetic purposes for major or minor surgery, healing, etc. The list is endless. It is mainly because of these misconceptions that every hypnotist hears the words “you are my last hope”. Why last though, why not first?
I believe that it’s true that not every hypnotist can hypnotise everybody but it’s not true to say that someone can’t be hypnotised. There are a couple of reasons why a hypnotist may not be successful with a particular client. If you can fall asleep at night, wake up in the morning and can follow suggestions then you can be hypnotised, it’s as simple as that.
Hypnotherapy isn’t magic, but it’s close
More accurately put; using hypnosis to achieve specific outcomes, I believe that hypnotherapy is the modality of the future. Most people have seen hypnosis on stage, THIS IS NOTHING LIKE THAT. A major difference between the two is that the one is used for entertainment, whilst the other, hypnotherapy, is used for your well-being. I believe in using hypnosis for your overall benefit, your health and wellness in a holistic way. If you have any medical problems for which you are currently being treated, please remember that I will require a letter from your medical practitioner, hypnosis can also be used as a supportive role to scientific medicine. You can change your life forever, as thousands of others have done for themselves, irrespective of your religious beliefs, which ARE respected.
