Before we deal with the smoking habit, we need to deal with associated habits that people don’t normally think about. These include what brand you ask for in the shops, which hand and fingers you use to smoke with and then there are all the triggers, when do you smoke, under what circumstances are you feeling compelled to light up, etc.
I will see you the 1st session and give you some homework to do for the next week and only then will we deal with the actual smoking. This is very important in order to ensure that the habit is gone for good. Occasionally, more sessions are needed, especially when there is a subconscious reason that is NOT apparent or when a re-enforcement session is needed.
